Amanda’s life experiences have shaped her as a healthcare provider, and outdoor enthusiast. She is an lifelong student of TCM and balances her studies by hiking the incredible trail systems around Kaslo, cycling, reading, and practicing yoga.

Relocated to the mountains of BC to work and pursue outdoor adventure
TCM Practitioner Diploma program (4 Years) – Kootenay Columbia College of Integrative Health Sciences, Nelson, BC.
Received the Dean’s Award for Academic Achievement, Valedictorian
Doctor of TCM Diploma program (Additional 1 Year) – Pacific Rim College, Victoria, BC.
Graduated Summa Cum Laude (with highest honours)
Kaslo Community Acupuncture Society
Served on the Board of Directors (3 years)
Amanda hopes to contribute her time and expertise to KCAS – a non-profit which provides barrier-free acupuncture to area
residents

She will continue to hone her skills as a TCM Herbalist in the treatment of internal medicine conditions with continuing education in areas like male and female fertility and reproductive health, genitourinary conditions, and geriatric health.

As a registrant of the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC, Amanda is committed to providing professional care, fulfilling her duties to her patients and colleagues, and maintaining practice standards within the scope of TCM.
